Golf is a tough sport no matter what course you’re playing. And the difficulty can increase depending on the course you play. So, golfers typically fall into two camps: Golfers who like to play easier or familiar courses and those who are always looking to play new, challenging courses. Which one are you?
I’m a let’s find a new course that has been rated by Golf Digest or some other reputable group type of guy. Not only that, but I’m the one who annoyingly says “Let’s play it from the tips so we get the whole experience!”
Now mind you, I’m not good enough to play these courses from the back tees, but that doesn’t stop me. I’m of the belief that golf course designers intend courses to be played at their full length and the other sets of tees are just an afterthought. I can’t prove that, it’s just my theory.
If you’re like me, you’ll want to check out this list. However, one thing I can also vouch for is Golf With A Purpose before you tackle these types of courses. Because if you’re not hitting fairways and greens when you go, it will be a long day.
